Masis Staffing is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to fill a Dispatcher position. As a Dispatcher, you will primarily communicate with incoming drivers, serving as the main point of contact, and will be responsible for following both written and verbal instructions from Supervisor. The Dispatcher also will assist with the daily operations of freight and driver management. This position plays a key role in supporting the Central Dispatcher with freight displacement, data entry, and reporting.

Hourly Rate: $21-$23/hour.
Shift:

• **Sun-Tue 4A-4P, Wed is a 6-hour shift. Times TBD.
• **Thu-Sat 4A-4P, Sat is a 6-hour shift. Times TBD.

Dispatcher Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for incoming drivers during the shift.
• Handle written and verbal instructions from the supervisor.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure accurate logging of all information.
• Assist Central Dispatcher in the efficient displacement of freight and drivers
• Perform miscellaneous data entry tasks (Produce daily Revenue Reports and data entry of bills)
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer and professional relationships
• Adaptable to fast-paced, high-demand environments with busy phone lines
• Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or related field
• Experience in the trucking industry preferred
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or related field required
