Local Lake County company looking for a Part-Time Associate who is eager to learn, grow, and become a long-term member of our team. 
We are a sign manufacturing and installation company looking for a versatile Individual to support design production team and office operations team, on occasion. In this role, actively assisting our production team by preparing sign prints and layouts, the ideal candidate is organized, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and possesses graphic design or blueprint layout skills.

Key Responsibilities

Print Production Support

• Consult with clients to understand signage needs, brand identity, and target audience to conceptualize and design the needed sign layouts incorporating typography, color theory, and imagery by creating sketches, mockups, and digital proofs for client approval
• Produce final designs using graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Mechanical Drafting, CorelDRAW, etc.) and/or traditional sign-making techniques

• Help Graphic Production Staff with drawing prints, scaling layouts, and ensuring artwork matches the requested sign installation specifications
• Manage digital project files using Adobe and Corel formats to ensure the production crew has accurate prints.
• Stay current with design trends, materials, and safety regulations

Qualifications & Skills

• Software Experience: Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Mechanical Drafting, CorelDRAW, etc. and/or traditional sign-making techniques
• Industry Familiarity: Experience or interest in sign fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or printing is a major plus.
• Strong artistic ability and hand-eye coordination for precise lettering and design work with attention to detail, quality and deadlines
• Communication: Friendly and professional phone presence with excellent customer service skills.
• Adaptability: Comfortable transitioning from Production support to Operations support to Assembly of Signage, if needed

Schedule & Benefits

• Hours: Part-time schedule to start, with the potential to transition to full-time based on business growth and performance.
• Pay: $18.00 – $22.00/hr depending on experience.
• Prescreens required
