Job Title: Customer Services Representative  
Location: Elwood, IL
Hours: 6 AM, 7 AM, or 8 AM start (8-hour shift)
Pay Rate: $18.00

Job Description:
Masis Staffing is now hiring Customer Service Representatives in Elwood, IL. This position is responsible for supporting customer accounts, maintaining inventory records, processing billing and shipping documentation, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and serving as the primary point of contact between customers and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, possesses strong communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update customer information for billing purposes
  • Communicate with customers regarding inventory, shipments, deliveries, account inquiries, and scheduling updates
  • Research and resolve customer concerns, discrepancies, and shipment issues
  • Schedule and coordinate customer deliveries and shipments while communicating appointments to customers and warehouse teams
  • Invoice customers according to established billing schedules and run reports to verify invoicing accuracy
  • Review and audit account data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Enter, set up, and maintain product, inventory, shipment, and customer data within company systems
  • Process products received from customers into company systems
  • Create Bills of Lading (BOLs), freight bills, and other shipping documentation for outbound shipments
  • Scan, distribute, and upload documents to customers and customer portals as required
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
  • Check drivers in and out at the shipping and receiving window
  • Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Utilize ACCUPLUS and TMW systems to manage customer, inventory, billing, and shipment information
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
  • Perform additional administrative, clerical, and other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service, logistics, warehouse, transportation, or administrative experience required
  • Experience with shipping documentation and inventory management preferred
  • Ability to work overtime as needed based on customer demand
  • Must be dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
