Commercial Construction Superintendent – $45–$50/hr

Pay: $45.00–$50.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
Project Duration: Approximately 2 Years

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent for a long-term commercial project in Burlington, MA.
The Superintendent will oversee daily field operations, coordinate construction activities and trades, monitor project schedules, enforce safety requirements, and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and construction personnel
• Maintain daily project schedules and work priorities
• Review blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Monitor commercial interior construction activities
• Oversee Light Gauge Metal Framing work
• Coordinate commercial door, frame, and hardware installation
• Oversee suspended ceiling installation
• Conduct field inspections for quality and completion
• Identify and resolve field construction issues
• Coordinate manpower, materials, deliveries, and equipment
• Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
• Communicate project progress and concerns to project management
• Maintain accurate site and project documentation
• Utilize Procore for project communication and documentation when applicable

Qualifications

• Previous commercial construction superintendent experience
• Strong commercial interior construction background
• Light Gauge Metal Framing experience preferred
• Experience with commercial doors, hardware, and frames
• Suspended ceiling experience
• Strong blueprint and specification reading skills
• Experience coordinating multiple trades
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Massachusetts CSL preferred
• Procore experience preferred
• OSHA 10 card required – must be in hand and legible
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Reliable transportation to Burlington, MA

This position offers the opportunity to join a major long-term project expected to run approximately two years.
