Masis Staffing Solutions is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Counter Associate to support a busy distribution counter in Columbia, SC. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, handling orders accurately, and keeping details organized in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $20.00/hour Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
What You’ll Do
As a Counter Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact at the counter—supporting customers and keeping orders and information accurate.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide friendly, professional customer service at the counter (in-person and potentially by phone)
Enter orders and customer information accurately (strong data entry required)
Assist customers with product questions and order needs
Support order processing, basic paperwork, and internal coordination
Maintain a neat, organized counter/work area and help keep workflow moving smoothly
What We’re Looking For
Required:
Experience with HVAC parts or similar product/parts counter environment
Proven customer service experience in a distribution environment
Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
Reliability, punctuality, and a team-first attitude
Comfortable working on-site in a customer-facing role
