Masis Staffing is seeking a Customer Service Rep to work for a direct mail company in Northern CT.  This job is located in Enfield, CT. We need someone with a customer service background, willing to learn and ability to follow instructions and be part of a team is essential.    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere and communicates in a professional manner with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Communicates with customers and vendors through reps via phone, e-mail, fax and in person for both on-site and off-site visits as required.
  • Maintain detailed Client Profiles that include contact information and any other client specific requests. 
  • Monitors receipt of mailing components, verifies that the quantity is sufficient for the job requirements, reviews materials for compliance with postal regulations, and brings potential issues to the attention of the appropriate member of management/sales. 
  • Uses Mail-shop software to create Work Orders for other departments, generate postage requests, track postage receipts, monitor inventory history/usage, generate inventory reports, and create initial invoices for review. Will train! 
  • Uses multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects at various stages in the production processes and to assure that client schedules and expectations are met by maintaining a detailed and updated schedule of all ongoing jobs. 
  • Identifies project issues, changes, or delays and communicates with appropriate production and management staff to effectively provide resolution and customer feedback. 
  • Consistently update and expand knowledge of postal rules and regulations. Ensure clients are in compliance with all USPS regulations and that all necessary paperwork is updated. 
  • Trains on inside sales responsibilities, such as making calls to their existing client base to promote and educate clients on Company’s diversified services.  Identifies leads and forwards to the appropriate salesperson. Train on creating estimates with Sales and Senior CSR staff.
  • Supports team members through cross training to provide coverage during vacation, sick time and busy production periods as required. Perform various other job duties as assigned including phone coverage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, high standards for work quality, motivated, organized, and reliable.

Education and experience: 

  • 2 years Customer Service/clerical experience preferred – this can be in a retail setting!
