Location: Buffalo, NY 
Pay: $22.75 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Hybrid – Monday/Friday remote, Tuesday–Thursday in-office | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: Contract- 8 months (Open to extension)

Job Title: Fulfillment Planner
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Fulfillment Planner to join our team on a temporary basis to support key Galileo initiatives. In this role, you will coordinate inventory movement across the distribution network to ensure customer demand is met efficiently. You will play a critical part in optimizing transportation, managing warehouse space, and maintaining inventory health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop deployment strategies based on current demand and production plans at the SKU location level.

  • Plan, create, and manage purchase orders and stock transfer orders using SAP and BlueYonder.

  • Monitor warehouse capacity and 14-day outlooks to prevent gridlock; prioritize inbound shipments during capacity constraints.

  • Manage inventory shortage reports and communicate critical shortages to Customer Service, Supply Planners, and Sales Channel Managers.

  • Maximize freight utilization for stock transfer orders and manage DC-to-DC inventory transfers.

  • Analyze inventory health, track unplanned shortages, and develop improvement plans to enhance customer order fill rates.

  • Maintain data accuracy by updating reason codes, past dues, and mismatch reports in SAP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in logistical planning (preferred).

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced) and experience with PowerBI, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP (ECC and/or S4 Hana) and BlueYonder is highly preferred.

  • APICS certification is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, statistical, and financial analysis skills.

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

Key Working Relationships
You will collaborate closely with Customer Service, Manufacturing Operations, Shipping, 3rd Party Transportation and Distribution Providers, Marketing, International Logistics, Contract Manufacturing, and Procurement.
