Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join the operations team at Veritiv’s Norcross distribution site. The ideal candidate will maintain inventory accuracy, process transfers to fulfill customer orders, support vendor and accounts-payable communications, and help sustain high service levels across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review inventory locations and reconcile stock to ensure accurate availability for sales orders.
  • Process and coordinate inventory transfers between locations to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Work with vendor partners and internal teams to research and resolve accounts payable or receiving discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records in inventory and warehouse management systems.
  • Communicate proactively with operations, customer service, and vendor contacts to support timely order fulfillment.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline inventory workflows and improve service levels.
  • Other related administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of warehouse, inventory, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Proficient with basic computer systems and inventory/WMS or ERP tools (experience with Veritiv systems a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory records and transfers.
  • Good customer-service and communication skills; ability to work with vendors and internal partners.
  • Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Ability to lift and move moderate weight items as required by site procedures.

Desired Skills

  • Administrative support experience and familiarity with accounts payable processes.
  • Experience investigating and resolving discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
