Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated Mailroom Clerk to join their team and manage essential document and mail processing tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining positive relationships with clients and team members.
Responsibilities of the Mailroom Clerk
Process inbound mail, print, and outbound mail, as well as manage scanning operations.
Follow general Document Service procedures as outlined in various clients’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Open, date stamp, and sort daily incoming mail.
Handle daily print output of insurance invoices, notices, declaration pages, and more.
Assemble and meter outgoing mail, and perform front-end scanning of documents.
Track inventory levels for paper, envelopes, copier supplies, and procure replenishments as needed.
Identify and report any irregularities in Document Service activities that may indicate potential issues.
Requirements of the Mailroom Clerk
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong multitasking skills to accomplish various position duties.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with insureds, agents, and client company representatives.
Availability to work 40+ hours per week, with occasional on-call or extended hours.
Capability to perform desk work, computer work, and operate business machinery such as scanners and printers.
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to frequent procedural changes.
