Masis Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing client to hire a Production Control Manager (Planner) in East Longmeadow, MA. Position is temp-to-perm and 100% onsite (not remote or hybrid) with excellent long-term career potential with an established company continuing rapid growth and expansion.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring effective preparation of production schedules based on production requirements to ensure timely delivery.

Position Type: Temp to perm (100% onsite)

Pay: $33 – $38 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 6:30am to 3:15pm

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Production scheduling — deciding what gets made, on which machine, and in what sequence.
  • Capacity planning — balancing labor, equipment, and time.
  • Work orders — releasing, tracking, and closing them.
  • Bottleneck management — identifying constraints and optimizing flow.
  • Coordination with operations — ensuring the shop floor can execute the plan.
  • Meeting customer delivery dates — aligning production with demand.
  • Prepare and issue regular and timely production reports.
  • Assist with material planning and scheduling to support production requirements.
  • Collaborate with all functional areas of Operations to achieve regional and global client requirements.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives to enhance performance

 

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of production mangement and planning.
  • SAP experience preferred along with MS Office proficiency
  • Minimum 2-year business degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Solid analytical skills and the ability to collect and interpret data effectively.
  • Team player with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
