This role is pivotal in assisting clients with accessing and managing funds, focusing on housing issues such as tenant and landlord disputes, homelessness prevention, and tenancy preservation. Responsibilities of the RAFT Program Assistant

  • Serve as a front-line contact for clients, providing essential information on housing programs and services.

  • Assist clients in accessing necessary resources and services to meet their needs.

  • Offer information, referral services, brief counseling, or extended case management to clients.

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive counseling and case management services.

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external service providers.

  • Conduct assessments to identify and address the needs of clients seeking services.

  • Accurately enter client information into relevant internal databases.
     

Requirements of the RAFT Program Assistant

  • Experience with income, asset, and credit reviews.

  • Proficiency in financial budgeting and reporting.

  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations.

  • Experience in business and customer service; strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems.

  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
     

Compensation/Benefits for the RAFT Program Assistant

 

  • $21./HR
