Structural Engineer II Lyndhurst, NJ
Our client is a growing engineering firm delivering structural design solutions across a variety of project types and construction materials. This position is well-suited for an experienced Engineer I or early-career Engineer II seeking increased responsibility, greater independence, and continued progress toward Professional Engineer licensure.
Structural Engineer II Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis, calculations, and design for projects utilizing multiple construction materials
Coordinate with design and drafting teams to develop and revise structural drawings, including redlines
Contribute to project success by meeting schedules and managing work efficiently within established hour budgets
Conduct independent site visits as needed to evaluate existing conditions and confirm alignment with design documents
Structural Engineer II Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required
At least 3 years of full-time, direct industry experience in the U.S.
Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) or Engineer Intern (E.I.) required; Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred or actively pursuing
Proficiency with structural engineering design software and analysis tools
Structural Engineer II Compensation:
$80K – $120K salary dependent on experience
