We are seeking candidates at different levels with compensation commensurate with experience.

 

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

 

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for multiple concurrent projects, guiding architecture, design, integration, and verification efforts.
  • Own and run the end-to-end technical execution of products—from requirements capture to system validation and delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to performance, reliability, and compliance requirements (e.g., MIL-STD).
  • Oversee technical reviews (PDRs, CDRs, TRRs) and lead resolution of complex design and implementation challenges.

 

Project & Team Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with project managers to define scope, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Lead and coordinate work across electrical, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to meet technical and schedule objectives.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical rigor, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Support risk identification and mitigation strategies across projects.
  • Customer Engagement
  • Act as the primary technical interface with customers and partners—supporting requirements development, design discussions, reviews, and ongoing communication.
  • Represent the engineering team in customer meetings, design reviews, and status briefings.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable engineering tasks and ensure their effective execution.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on design and development experience in aerospace or defense electronics.
  • Demonstrated success leading technical efforts across multiple engineering disciplines and product lifecycles.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, digital and/or analog electronics, and design for aerospace environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with design and development tools (e.g., Altium, MATLAB, FPGA toolchains, requirements management systems).

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working on space-qualified or radiation-tolerant electronics.
  • Prior involvement in proposal development and technical volume authorship.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering practices and documentation (e.g., interface control documents, requirement traceability).
  • Hands-on experience with hardware integration, environmental testing, and/or lab bring-up.

 

Education – Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
