Masis Staffing Solutions is Hiring: Embroidery Department Supervisor (1st Shift)
Masis Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Embroidery Department Supervisor with significant hands-on expertise operating industrial embroidery machines. This is a 1st shift opportunity for someone who can lead daily production, ensure top-quality output, and keep deadlines on track in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate
$20–$25 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule
1st Shift (hours to be confirmed)
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret work orders to ensure accurate production setup and output
Set up digitized files for production (digitizing experience is a plus)
Set up and operate multiple 6-head industrial embroidery machines
Troubleshoot during production runs and make necessary machine adjustments
Maintain production deadlines while ensuring excellent quality control
Embroider on a variety of substrates, including (but not limited to):
Hoodies, fleece, polos, jackets
Caps, beanies, bucket hats
Towels, bags, and more
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of proper stabilizers, threads, and embroidery techniques across different fabric types
Maintain daily communication with the production team by:
Monitoring email
Updating production schedule statuses
Logging daily production data into the system
Perform basic machine cleaning and routine checks to ensure equipment runs properly
Train new or inexperienced team members when needed
Supervise at least one or more employees, holding them accountable for productivity and conduct
Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent quality
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Professional communication skills (including email and production updates)
Strong attendance and reliability
