This role is crucial in ensuring the precise placement and soldering of surface mount parts on circuit boards and oversees the daily operation of automated printed circuit board assembly lines. Responsibilities of the SMT Machine Group Leader
Oversee the daily operation of automated printed circuit board assembly lines
Fix complex circuit board defects,, using soldering equipment to repair defects.
Perform quality control procedures on circuit boards and other SMT parts. and technology.
Perform troubleshooting of SMT machinery
Provide manufacturing technical support
Assist the machine operators when problems arise
Perform the work necessary to maintain the equipment
Requirements of the SMT Machine Group Leader/Rework
Manufacturing experience is required.
Soldering experience is required for rework.
Quality Control experience is required.
Understand manufacturing documentation
Ability to recognize various electronic components and understand their specifications
Ability to work carefully with small state of the art surface mount components
Ability to read schematics and Understand ESD procedures
Ability to work independently
