Manufacturing Machine Operator

Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, must be able to work both 1st and 2nd shift as needed

A long-standing South Florida manufacturing company is seeking a Spanish speaking Manufacturing Machine Operator to run high-volume production equipment in a fast paced manufacturing facility..

What You’ll Do

• Operate high-volume production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Make sure the correct raw materials are being used, including  paper, filters, adhesive, and cleaning materials.
• Monitor equipment during production to help ensure product quality and steady machine performance.
• Check product parameters and make sure finished products meet required standards.
• Take samples at scheduled times and document production information.
• Place product container into master cases and support packaging flow as needed.
• Follow cleaning and housekeeping guidelines for production equipment and work areas.
• Perform minor mechanical adjustments as needed.
• Report equipment, quality, material, or production issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Spanish communication skills required.
• Previous machine operating experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or another high-speed production environment.
• Experience working with automated or high-volume production equipment preferred.
• Ability to work a Monday through Friday schedule that may rotate or swing between 1st and 2nd shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality standards.
• Basic mechanical ability, including comfort making minor machine adjustments.
• Ability to complete production records accurately.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work assigned schedule.
